Statement: Round 02: Spain – Jerez

„The lockdown felt like a second winter break for me, but I’m glad that we can race again. Jerez will be a tough race, normally we ride in May with warm conditions now we have July and the sun is burning.
Friday we had the first two practice sessions and we had a good feeling. From the beginning I have been fast and that gave me confidence for the rest of the weekend. For Saturday we made some little adjustments on the bike. I was ready for qualifying! It was P2 on the grid for Sunday´s race. Ready for Race day I would say.
In Sunday´s Warm Up session we tried a different setting but we felt immediately that this was not helping me so we kept the bike from the previous day. It was a shame for me that my race finished just in Turn 1 as I got kicked out from another. It’s a shame but we have one more chance next week here in Jerez for Round 3.”
