Statement: Round 03: Spain – Jerez

„After some days of resting we are back for action in Jerez, this time for the Andalucian GP. We started the Friday with the same bike setting like the weekend before. I found my rhythm immediately and I could start building a good race pace.
On the qualifying session I wasn’t able to ride a complete good lap time, but my pace was string and anyway I felt ready for the race.
From P4 I started this GP and in the first lap I already thought, this is my race, I felt so good. Apparently this feeling was not lasting for a long time and I struggled a lot with the front feeling and the breaks. I risked a lot to keep the race pace and tried to give my best. I crashed out in Turn 9. I can´t believe I have to go home from Jerez, a circuit I really like, with 0 points.”
