Statement: Round 08: Italy – Misano

„Misano two the Team and I decided to make a reset and think about a complete new setting. In FP1 I had a little crash but I had already a better felling than the weekend before, in FP2 I had a really strong pace and we finished the day happy. On Saturday in FP3 I made it directly into Q2. In the Qualifying I was not so happy with the result but we still had a bit time too improve the bike. We definitely had to improve the bike setting more because I felt on the limit. The changes we made for the Warm Up I liked and we kept this setting for the race. My target was to finish the race and to build up new confidence. At the end it was a really strange race, in Race 1 I did a really good start even though I had to avoid the rider in front of me because he touched the wrong button and I nearly rode into him. I was feeling good and I have been in a good position, but unfortunately the race got stopped due to rain. The race direction decided to make a quick restart and a Race 2 for 10 laps. I also started good and I was on P4 directly after the start, I was not so luck with the rear tyre this time and soon it started to loose on grip and I couldn’t improve my speed. I finished P7 after everything what happened the last weeks I was really happy for this result. Let´s continue!“
