Statement: Round 09: Spain – Barcelona

„In Barcelona we started the weekend on Friday with some difficulties, because I didn´t felt good on the bike. In the second session of the day it was really windy so it was difficult to understand the bike well, I think non of the riders were feeling well on the bike with this conditions. In FP3 happened a little bit of everything, I had a small crash in Turn 3 because of the cold temperatures in the lefthanders, we were able to restart in the third session but I wasn’t qualified for Q2. To be honest I was positive to be in Q1 because I said to my self; Don´t worry… now we have one more session to improve. I made it into Q2 and I ended up in Parcfermé. I was so happy to be back in the front row with P2. I started the race really well and I could manage to stay in the front, I made some little mistakes and It took me a while to overtake Roberts, also Sector 4 we lost a lot compared to the other riders, but with P4 I´m happy. Onto Le Mans.“
